Albury Library Museum

Albury Library Museum has an interesting collection related to Chinese Australian's of Albury and the surrounding district.

Its archives include a number of Chinese language documents, letters and certificates as well as clothing that were found in a brown cardboard trunk which had been stored for many years at Abikhair's Haberdashery Store on the corner of Olive street and Swift Street. Saad Abikahir opened this store in 1928 and his son Walter Abikhair closed the store in 1996 when the items that had laid in the store since at least 1928 were purchased by the Albury Regional Museum.
